Okay
A different but beautiful love story. Nicely told, simple, narrative about two people in love. Liked it though not the best
A Rogue---
I did enjoy this movie. It was an indie---completely self-made. And I congratulate these people for doing it. I know it must be very hard to make a movie without the millions and millions from a studio, and this was quite well done.
The only complaint I have about the story is how he turned out to be a good boy. Why??? Why do all movies with depraved and debauched men or women always come out "good" when they find love. Why can't love be depraved and debauched? Why can't the couple just have a good time??? It's a movie---it's supposed to be fantasy!!! And the ending---either one---just didn't help. I would have prefered the decadent to flourish and the virture to have died.
I enjoyed the period drama---I adored the background. I actually found this movie through the sideshow posters that were being sold on etsy.com. This story could have been so much more, but the balls to write and shoot made it and that is why I gave it 3 stars. I will be showing it at period...
